Hyperhidrosis (Sweating)
Many people suffer from perfuse sweating which can occur typically in the axilla or hands. It tends to start in the mid teenage years and not improve until the 30's. Thankfully, there are some newer treatment options to help control the sweating. Aluminum Chloride topical solution is usually prescribed first to see if that will control the issue. If that fails, then our next preferred treatment of choice is botulinum toxin injections to the affected areas. To treat the axilla the charge is $800. We recommend you purchase topical anesthetic, LMX4, from us beforehand and apply this at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. When this anesthetic is used you should not be in any discomfort for the procedure. The charge to treat both hands is $1600. We do not bill insurance for this procedure.
