Acne Surgery for Teens

Southlake Dermatology offers many treatments for acne, including acne "surgery" to help clear stubborn comedones (blackheads). Highly effective, our estheticians are trained to perform this procedure in our office. Most insurance companies cover this, so it can be a cost effective way to improve acne. There will be increased redness after the procedure, so summer break is a great time to schedule this for teenagers.

In addition, we often will use a salicylic acid peel to help with the treatment of acne. Be sure to continue to use retinol, retin-a and Differin this summer with sunscreen. To schedule an appointment about acne treatment, call 817-251-6500.
